[Upper Age Limit is relax-able for SC / ST candidates by 5 Years and for OBC / OBC-A / OBC-B candidates by 3 years.]

 

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the written examination and Interview.

 

Names of candidates short-listed for the written test along with their Admit Cards-cum-Attendance Sheets will be posted on the Commissions’ website  for download and printing.

 

The Objective Type Written Test will be held tentatively in the month of June, 2013. For post codes 011301 & 011303 there will be only one paper – Paper-I, but for post codes 011302 & 011304, candidates will have to answer two papers -– Paper-I and Paper-II.

 

While Paper I will be common for all the four posts, Paper II for post codes 011302 & 011304, will be an Objective Type Written Tests on General Banking Awareness. It will be conducted in the 2nd half on the date of examination (same day).

 

Syllabus for both the papers – Paper –I and Paper –II is available on the Website of the Co-operation Department, Government of West Bengal .

 

Written examination and Interviews are expected to be held in Kolkata Metropolitan Area only.

 

No Travelling Expenses will be paid to the candidates for attending the examinations / interviews.

 

Application Fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.160 should be deposited in cash (along with a Service Charge of Rs.10.00 to be charged by the Bank) in CD A/c No.29312051276 with The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd. , Main Branch, Kolkata  in any branch of the said Co-operative Bank through a Bank Challan available on Commission’s website 

 

The fees amount can also be transferred through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) in favour of Co-Operative Service Commission, West Bengal from any NEFT enabled Branch of the said State Co-operative Bank, Central Co-operative Banks or any other Bank of the country to the credit of CD A/c No.29312051276 at Kolkata Main Branch of The West Bengal State Co-operative Bank Ltd., having IFS Code WBSC0000001.

 

Candidates should retain the CSC, WB Copy of the Bank Challan / NEFT Challan (UTR details), duly receipted and stamped by the Bank Branch, for attaching to the Application, after paying the Application Fee.

 

[SC / ST candidates are exempted from paying any fees.]

 

How to Apply: Interested eligible candidates should send their applications, in the prescribed format, along with Commission’s Copy of the Bank Challan / NEFT Challan (for UR applicants) and attested copies of required documents and certificates and send it to the Commission’s Office “Co-Operative Service Commission, Bhabani Bhavan, 4th Floor, 31 Belvedere Road, Alipore, Kolkata-700027, Phone 033-24793035” by Post / Speed Post / Registered Post / Courier Service so that it reaches the said address on or before 12 April 2013, (1700 hours) or DROP IT in the earmarked Drop Box of the Commission placed at the Ground Floor of the Main Building of Bhabani Bhavan, 31, Belvedere Road, Alipore, Kolkata-700 027 till 12 April 2013, (1700 hours).

NOTE: One applicant should apply for one post only.

 

A list of applicants, whose applications will be rejected on primary scrutiny, along with the grounds for rejection, will be placed on the website. In case any applicant have any objection against the ground for rejection of his / her Application, he / she may contact the Commission’s office on the scheduled date and time along with the relevant Challan copy and original Madhyamik / Equivalent Examination certificates, Admit Card and other relevant documents as well as an application containing his / her arguments and the remedy sought. The Commission reserves the right to consider and take appropriate decisions on such applications on merit and such decisions will be final and binding on the applicants.
