Indo Swiss Entrance Exam 2014 - Indo Swiss Entrance Exam also known as CSIO Entrance Exam is conducted by CSIO-ISTC Chandigarh to provide admission to nearly 108 candidates (both boys and girls) in:
The admission is open to both Boys and Girls who have passed their qualifying examination (refer
Para 4.3) from recognized boards/school in India. Admission will be granted on the basis of merit
(refer Para 6) in the Entrance Test to be conducted by ISTC on 11.08.2013 (Sunday) at
Chandigarh.
4.1 Total number of seats is 108, of which 29 (27%) are reserved for OBC, 16 (15%) for SC and 8
(7.5%) for ST candidates.Vacant seats of appropriate categories will be filled as per Govt. of India
norms.
Three seats (3%) are reserved for Disabled Candidates (physically challenged with disability in
one leg or one arm and partially deaf persons). The seats shall be filled as per merit list of the
physically challenged candidates out of the seats pertaining to the category to which the candidate
belongs i.e. General, OBC, SC or ST. These candidates would be required to produce a medical
certificate from Govt. Medical Officer authorised for the purpose.

Three Year Diploma Course in Instrument Technology followed by Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making (4-years) and

Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation (4-years) at CSIO-ISTC Chandigarh.

Educational Qualification
Aspiring candidates should have appeared/appearing in Matriculation examination with Mathematics, Science and English as subjects from the State Board/Central Board i.e CBSE, ICSE/National Open Schools.
Age Limits
Those born on or after 1st September 1994 (1st September 1991 in case of SC/ST candidates) are eligible to apply for Indo Swiss Entrance Exam 2013.

Indo Swiss Entrance Exam Pattern
The Indo Swiss Entrance Exam will consists of objective type multiple choice type of questions to be answered in OMR sheets. There will be negative marking of the tune of 1/4 marks for each wrong answer.
Note: 25% of the allotted marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

How to Apply for Indo Swiss Entrance Exam?
Aspiring candidated can apply for ISCT Entrance Exam through Online mody only. Application form along with detailed relevant information is available on our website www.csio.res.in w.e.f. 25-05-2014.
ISTC Entrance Fee and Mode of Payment.
The charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are Rs.1000 for General/OBC Candidates and Rs.500 for SC/ST.
The fee is to be deposited directly in any branch of State Bank of India into the Power Jyoti Account Number 33004547024 with the help of Fee Deposit Slip downloaded from the official website.

Indo Swiss Entrance Exam Selection Process?
The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance/marks of ISTC entrance exam. The cut off marks in ISTC entrance exam for the admission are 35% for General and 20% for reserved categories (OBC/SC/ST/PH).
The candidates in order of merit will be called for counselling by registered post. The candidates should satisfy themselves fully about the eligibility conditions of admission.
