UIIT HPU CET 2015 – University Institute of Information Technology Himachal Pradesh University Shimla Common Entrance Test acronym as UIIT CET is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University Shimla for admission to 60 seat of:

1. B. Tech in Information Technology.
2. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering

UIIT HPU CET Eligibility  

Aspiring candidate should be +2 with Physics and Mathematics, with 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates)

Note: Candidates, who have appeared in +2 examination in 2015, shall be allowed to appear in the test provisionally and his/her eligibility shall be verified at the time of counseling.

UIIT HPU CET Syllabus  

UIIT CET will consist of questions from each subject totally based on the latest syllabus of +2 as prescribed by the H.P./CBSE Board of School Education. UIIT CET consists of questions from the subjects: 

• Physics
• Chemistry
• Mathematics

UIIT HPU CET Pattern 

UIIT CET will consist of multiple choice type questions having four different options. The candidates will have to choose the correct answer and shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black ink pen adhering to the instructions provided.

Note: There is negative marking for each wrong answer ie is 25% of the right answer. There shall be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the response sheet.

The online application form and prospectus for information are available on website www.hpuniv.in. For online submission of application, desirous eligible candidates are advised to be ready with soft copy of passport size photograph and scanned copy of signature before submitting application through online process. Application fee of Rs. 1000/- can be paid through link provided in the online application form by modes of credit card, debit card, net banking or through challan (cash).
